The Turkish series is broadcast to over 55 countries with Iraq being the latest addition. Turkish daily drama series Legacy (S1-3, 861×45’) and Redemption (S1&2, 480×45’) have been acquired by more international broadcasters after deals secured by Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights.
“Daily drama series in Turkey have been pushing higher-budget titles in the ratings for a number of years, and this is reflected in the international market where demand for reliable, long-running series continues to grow. Legacy, which is nearing 1000 episodes since 2020, and now Redemption, are high-quality, high-volume series that win viewers day after day,” said Handan Özkubat, director of Turkish drama, Eccho Rights.
Iraqi channel Kurdmax has struck a deal with Eccho Rights to air its Turkish drama Legacy. Eccho Rights is owned by Night Train Media.
